Flyin' high
FROM JB:
On the surface indoor skydiving might seem scary. I'll admit, it is a little intimidating. But when I arrived at iFly Houston and saw little kids -- and even a birthday grandma -- heading into the wind tunnel, it made me think that I would have no problem taking flight and taking a successful dive.
After a brief training video and a recap of the hand signals the instructor would use, the nervous group I was teamed up with had its moment to shine. And shine we did. I think we were naturals... or it's just really that easy to do.
Don't get me wrong, we were able to keep ourselves upright and spinning around. The true talent was when the instructors would do their flips and go zooming to the top of the chamber. I'll get there. Baby steps.
