It has long been a tradition that every city featured during our travel broadcasts includes a stop at a local KFC. Houston is no different. This started back in Montreal a few years ago when I was away from my family and missed the big Easter turkey dinner. The only place open near my hotel was a KFC. So I ordered and it was actually delivered by room service on a silver platter. It became a running joke that that is my gourmet dinner when I am away from home.

No sun, flood warnings and pouring rain. Hey, it's better than Canadian blizzards and freezing temperatures, so I'll take it! Though I had to laugh at the wimps who think 46 degrees is "freezing cold" -- that's nothing. They would never survive in the Great White North.
